I have always been an athletic person and considered myself a “runner”. A friend introduced me to Crossfit at the age of 42 and went off and on for a couple of years. I injured my shoulder doing some volunteer work and had to have surgery. After a few months of rehab, I wasn’t happy where I was at and was convinced to come back to Crossfit, slowly. Every workout was adaptable to my ability and my rehab went faster and faster. I decided to become a coach and share my love for the sport. The benefits of Crossfit has gone beyond getting in shape and being healthy, I am a stronger runner – without having to run as much as I did before and the sense of family at this box is incredible and I am blessed to be a part of it.
